OPENING NIGHT 6-8pm Tuesday 6 March 2012

Nine unrepresented emerging and mid-career artists are featured in the AT_SALON exhibition program, new to Anita Traverso Gallery. This inaugural exhibition features hand-picked artists practicing over a variety of media including ceramics, textiles, drawing, painting and photography.

The new AT_SALON project provides a unique opportunity for curators, collectives and individual artists practicing in any medium to exhibit in a professional gallery environment which bridges between artist-run spaces and full gallery representation.

This first exhibition in this project series features –

Kane Alexander [VIC]
Winner of the Patrick Corrigan Am acquisitive award, 2010 Kodak Salon at CCP. Kane Alexander on Artabase
Sally Cleary [VIC]
An established artist with exhibition and lecturing experience internationally as well as within Australia.
Kirstin Finlayson [VIC]
Currently undertaking a MFA in Glass at Monash University.
Stefan Gevers [VIC]
An established artist with works in the NAB collection, Artbank and numerous private collections.
Robyn Hosking [VIC] 
Recent winner of the Sofitel Melbourne Exhibition in a Public Space Award.
Ted Lincoln [USA] 
Contemporary American abstract painter with exhibitions throughout the USA.
Kevina-Jo Smith [NSW]
VCA graduate with many recent exhibitions throughout Australia.
James Tapscott [VIC] 
An award winning photographer with upcoming exhibitions in Oslo + New York.
Peter Whyte [TAS]
A well-established photographer who recently documented the MONA collection for David Walsh.
